i think i’ve made a decision
although i still have time to change my mind tonight.
also, the keen eyed observer may have noticed a short time yesterday when both this site and the photoblog stopped working, because both mysql databases i had set up mysteriously disappeared. obviously these are now back and functioning, but it appears that all my web traffic stats have been deleted for any date prior to april first.
i suspect the two are related, although margie doesn’t seem to have the problem. her stats are still there. it’s entirely possible that i’ve broken something because i had a small whoops whilst moving wordpress files around, resulting in my mailbox going missing. i’ve fixed that though and i can’t see a similar problem that relates to stats.
anyways, who knows. i’m getting new data for april though, and since i only optimised stuff during march i guess it’s not that big a deal. just irritating.
