a proper photographer tackles life in paris: un jour à paris
and i’m sick again. i was sick as a dog the week(end) before we went away and luckily it cleared up just in time for our trip, and now it’s come back. i think i’m feeling better than i was yesterday and earlier today, but i’m still feverish.
as long as it doesn’t get any worse than this.
sites like this make me want to be a much better photographer than i am.

i would have written more whilst we were away, but honestly, coming to terms with a french laptop keyboard was the most unimaginably frustrating thing, it just made me want to cry.
i was hoping to come back with more photos than i have, but at my current skill level paris seems to be quite a difficult place to really capute in pictures. especially if you’re trying to avoid the typical postcard images. perhaps if i’d had the tripod with me i might have been more successful as the night scenery is really something else. wonderful lights and colours. my poor old tripod is just about past it’s useby date though, so it was consigned to watching the apartment for us.Â
still, there are a few that are worthwhile, so check the thumbnail over to the right for new pics.
