dead duck
since i haven’t managed to fiddle about with anti spam solutions for the photoblog yet, i’ve decided to remove the picture that’s been farmed out and is generating all the comments. luckily it wasn’t one i was particularly fond of in the overall scheme of things (the duck). i wonder how long it will take before i start getting picked up on other pictures now.
edit: unfortunately i had forgotten about the pixelpost issue that means you can post comments to an image which doesn’t infact exist, so deleting the poor old duck doesn’t seem to have stopped the spam at all. sigh.
i like cereal
i don’t know exactly how much setting up this will require, because i’m hoping the performace will carry itself without you needing to know too much about the story. that’s why i’m posting it after all. both the animation and voice performance of “cheese” from foster’s home for imaginary friends is one of the funniest things i’ve seen in animation for a long time.
anyways, to set it up for you a little bit, foster’s home for imaginary friends is exactly what it sounds like. a foster home for abandoned imaginary friends. cheese (the yellow one in the clip) is one of those imaginary friends, and this is a short montage of clips from his first appearance on the show. as you’ll see, cheese is fond of chocolate milk, cereal and bunnies among other things. enjoy, or if you prefer, marvel at my ridiculous admiration for animated television shows.

really going to have to do something about the comment spam on the photoblog soon. i can clean them out easily enough, but it’s the constant stream of emails that’s starting to get to me now. i know there are a few good pixelpost addons that will kill it off, i just need to sit down and do it. another for the to do list i guess.
speaking of, i’ve managed to cross off (partially at least) two items on that list. i wrote down the new ideas i’d had for my little project. i need to expand on them a bit now. i also got out and took a few pictures yesterday whilst the sun was shining. that’s the partial crossing off. i still have pictures from london to go through and process, so taking them isn’t quite enough. i have to do something with them as well.

having spoken to a number of other people from the other night who ended up with headaches and hangovers far more vicious than the previous night’s drinking would suggest, we’ve come to the conclusion that it was this rubbish that caused our sorry plight.
