the daily shooter looks to have well and truly bitten the dust, and so cops the cull from my list of links to be replaced by the radiant vista. great set of photography critiques, tutorials and workbenches. been a really valuable resource for me lately.

as the comments on the image itself and at photoblogs.org say, there’s a real timeless quality to this shot. could just as easily be monroe.
since i haven’t managed to fiddle about with anti spam solutions for the photoblog yet, i’ve decided to remove the picture that’s been farmed out and is generating all the comments. luckily it wasn’t one i was particularly fond of in the overall scheme of things (the duck). i wonder how long it will take before i start getting picked up on other pictures now.
edit: unfortunately i had forgotten about the pixelpost issue that means you can post comments to an image which doesn’t infact exist, so deleting the poor old duck doesn’t seem to have stopped the spam at all. sigh.
